The Sojourner Truth Environmental Justice Project provides rural local county Chapters members and allies’ deeper understanding of their environmental injustice issues and also raises awareness for community members to make informed decisions about their lives, and begin work towards change in policy and procedure in public/community planning and development activities, as well as research.
